Mataram, August 15, 2023 — The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Mataram (FEB Unram) held a send-off ceremony for students participating in the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) Program – specifically the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) and internships for students of the Diploma III (D-III) Accounting Study Program. The event took place in the FEB Unram Theater Room and was attended by faculty leaders and program coordinators.

The event was officiated by the Dean of FEB Unram, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, ST, who, in his remarks, expressed his appreciation and full support for the active participation of students in MBKM programs. He emphasized the importance of off-campus experiences in shaping graduates to be adaptive and prepared for the challenges of the professional world.

“This program is a great opportunity for students to develop their competencies, build networks, and broaden their horizons beyond the classroom. We hope the students will represent FEB Unram with pride and return with valuable experiences to share with their peers here,” said Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, ST.

Also present at the ceremony were the Head of the D-III Accounting Study Program, Ms. Eni Indriani, SE, MA, and the Program Secretary, Ms. Nurabiah, MMSI. Both delivered messages of encouragement and hope that the students will participate in the programs with enthusiasm, a sense of responsibility, and uphold proper ethics as ambassadors of the university.

Dozens of students from the D-III Accounting Program at FEB Unram will join the PMM program at various universities across Indonesia, as well as internships at partner institutions and companies, as part of the implementation of the MBKM policy launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

The event concluded with a joint prayer and a group photo session as a symbol of support and unity between the academic community of FEB Unram and the students embarking on the program.
