Mataram, 28 March 2024 – Collaboration between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Mataram (FEB UNRAM) produced an inspiring moment in the Entrepreneurship Talk series #4 which discussed “Sustainable Entrepreneurship Empowering Future Leaders.” The event which took place in the FEB UNRAM Theater Room on March 28 2024 presented fascinating discussions from leading speakers in various sectors.

Three main speakers also enlivened the event, bringing a variety of insights and inspiration to the participants. Ryandika Terra, CEO of Concha, introduced his business developing jewelry from kerrang shells, highlighting the potential of local materials to create high-value products.

Not to forget, Shana Fatina, founder of Komodo Water, also participated through a virtual session via Zoom Meeting, presenting her perspective on the importance of sustainable business in protecting the surrounding environment.

Meanwhile, Zul Adha, founder of Sasak Tani, provided insight into the importance of entrepreneurship in developing the local agricultural sector and encouraging the welfare of farmers in the region.

The event was well hosted by Lia Rosida, who serves as UNIDO National Expert on Communication, guiding the discussion with expertise and sharpness in developing innovative ideas.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Mataram gave a warm welcome and opened the event, emphasizing the importance of collaboration like this in supporting the development of sustainable entrepreneurship among students and the community.

Entrepreneurship Talk #4 is clear evidence of UNIDO and FEB UNRAM’s commitment to inspiring and empowering future generations to become sustainable and responsible leaders.
