Memorandum of Understanding between the D-III Accounting Study Program of FEB Unram and Various Partners
Mataram, June 28, 2024 – In an effort to strengthen the synergy between the academic world and industry, the D-III Accounting Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, held a Signing Ceremony for Cooperation Agreements and the Implementation of Activities with several partners from the property industry, audit service firms, maternity hospitals, and government institutions. The event took place at The Gade Creative Lounge, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram.
The agreements were officially signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, S.T., M.Si., and the Head of the D-III Accounting Study Program, Eni Indriani, S.E., M.A., along with representatives from each partnering institution. This event marked an important milestone in enhancing the alignment between university graduates and the demands of the business and professional world (commonly referred to as Iduka in Indonesia).
Beyond strengthening partnership networks, the event served as a strategic forum to gather input from industry players regarding the improvement of both academic and non-academic services within the D-III Accounting Study Program. Through a warm and engaging discussion, the partners provided valuable insights and constructive feedback on the skills and competencies currently required in the job market.
“We greatly appreciate the support and active involvement of our industry partners. We hope this collaboration goes beyond merely signing documents and translates into impactful activities such as internships, guest lectures, and curriculum development tailored to industry needs,” said Ms. Eni Indriani in her opening remarks.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is emphasized that this initiative is part of the faculty’s commitment to supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program and to preparing graduates who are adaptive, competent, and ready to compete in the professional world.
Through these partnerships, it is expected that D-III Accounting students will gain real-world industry experience and that the quality of graduates will continue to improve in alignment with global developments and challenges.
