Research and Community Service oh The Associate of Accountancy Study Program FEB Unram
As part of its commitment to supporting the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMTS) of the University of Mataram, the Associate of Accountancy Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) consistently fosters an excellent academic culture through research and community service activities involving both lecturers and students. In the field of research, lecturers of the Associate of Accountancy Study Program actively engage students in the process of preparing scientific articles (attached file) for publication. Student involvement goes beyond mere assistance; they are directly engaged in problem identification, data collection, analysis, and the writing of scientific manuscripts. This activity aims to enhance the quality of learning, build students’ critical thinking skills, and enrich their academic experience. Through this synergy, both lecturers and students contribute to the advancement of practices in the fields of economics, management, business, and accounting—at local, national, and international levels. The results of these research activities are integrated into the Semester Learning Plans (RPS), enabling students to gain up-to-date insights and knowledge aligned with the latest developments in science and professional practice. Furthermore, the research outputs serve as the foundation for developing innovative and applicable accounting practices that are relevant to the needs of the workforce. In this way, students gain not only theoretical understanding but also practical skills that can be directly applied in real-world work environments. In addition, Community Service (PKM) plays an essential role in student development. Lecturers of the Associate of Accountancy Study Program actively involve students in various PKM programs (attached file). Through this involvement, students are equipped with social and leadership skills, and are instilled with values of social awareness and professionalism. PKM serves as an effective platform to nurture graduates who are sensitive to societal needs and ready to make meaningful contributions in the future. Through this collaborative approach to research and community service, the Associate of Accountancy Study Program at FEB Unram not only educates students academically but also shapes them into holistic individuals—ready to face professional challenges and make positive contributions to society and the industry.
