EDUCATION SYSTEM
FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS
- Education is carried out using the Semester Credit System.
- Semester Credit System is an education administration system in which student study load, teaching workload and educational institution program implementation are stated in credits or units of credit.
- Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters, namely odd semesters and even semesters.
One semester credit unit (1 credit) for lectures, responses, or tutorials, consisting of:
- learning process activities 50 (fifty) minutes per week per semester;
- structured assignment activities 60 (sixty) minutes per week per semester; and
- 60 (sixty) minutes of independent activities per week per semester.
- One Semester Credit Unit (1 credit) in the learning process in the form of seminars or other similar forms, consisting of:
- learning process activities 100 (one hundred) minutes per week per semester; and
- 70 (seventy) minutes of independent activities per week per semester.
- One Semester Credit Unit (1 credit) in the learning process in the form of practicum, studio practice, workshop practice, field practice, work practice, research, design, or development, military training, student exchange, internship, entrepreneurship, and/or service to Society consists of 170 (one hundred and seventy) minutes per week per semester.
Semester Credit System Characteristics
Semester Credit System has the following characteristics:
- Students are given the opportunity to determine the speed of completion of a the program he is pursuing.
- Students are offered academic education programs in accordance with curriculum under the guidance of an Academic Trustee (PA).
Semester Credit System Purpose
- The general aim is to make educational programs varies by providing wider possibilities for students to choose a program towards a certain kind of professional level according to their interests and abilities.
- Specific Objectives:
- To provide opportunities for students who are capable and active in learning so that they can complete their studies in a faster time.
- To provide opportunities for students to take courses that match their interests, talents and intellectual abilities.
- To facilitate the adjustment of the curriculum from time to time in line with the rapid development of knowledge and technology.
- To provide the possibility of transfer or credit transfer within certain limits.
- To make it easier for students to move from one university to another (specifically this transfer is regulated in a separate regulation).
Academic Administration
- Academic administration is a series of activities carried out by students, Academic Advisors and Academic Sub-Sections in a certain semester so that the implementation of the semester credit system can run as well as possible. Activities carried out by students, academic supervisors, and academic sub-sections are in the form of documenting academic completeness in the form of:
- Study Plan Card (KRS)
- Study Result Card (KHS)
- Study Plan Change (Cancellation or Replacement) Card
- Study Plan Card (KRS) is a card that shows the student's study plan each semester which is filled out (planned) by the student then validated and approved by the academic supervisor and administered by the academic sub-section. If KHS hasn't come out yet because something and another, students are allowed to program courses a maximum of 12 credits according to the academic calendar and after KHS is out students are allowed to make changes according to the calendar academic. Study Plan Cards (KRS) are printed by students after received validation/ approval by the PA lecturer (Academic Supervisor as many as 4 (four) sheets as documentation by each party namely: for Students, Academic Advisors, Academic and Data Section Base.
- Study Results Card (KHS) is an academic documentation that informs all recorded results of student learning activities in a certain semester which includes the number of courses taken, number of credits, the value of each course, semester achievement index, cumulative achievement index and total Credits taken in the following semester.
- Changes (cancellation or replacement) of the study plan are filled out by the student in triplicate if he intends to make changes (cancellation or replacement) of the study plan that has been approved by the PA lecturer. This card after being signed by the PA lecturer is sent to the academic sub-section 1 sheet, stored by the PA lecturer 1 sheet and stored by the student concerned 1 sheet. The replacement or cancellation of the KRS is only permitted with the approval of the PA lecturer in accordance with the predetermined time limit, and the canceled or replaced courses are considered not to be taken or programmed by the student concerned.
- Filling out the KRS and changing the KRS is done online.
The educational program held is the Bachelor’s Degree Program (S1) which includes Study Programs: Economics, Development Studies, Management and Accounting. The curriculum for the undergraduate program includes the following (Kepmen 232/U/2000):
- The MPK group consisting of relevant courses with the aim of enriching insight, deepening the intensity of understanding and appreciation core MPK;
- The MKK group consisting of relevant subjects to strengthen mastery and broaden knowledge of scientific competence on the basis of competitive and comparative advantage in the implementation of the study program concerned.
- The MKB group consisting of relevant subjects, aims to: strengthen mastery and broaden knowledge of competency skills in working in society in accordance with competitive advantage and comparative implementation of the study program concerned;
- The MPB group, which consists of relevant courses, aims to: strengthen mastery and broaden horizons of work behavior in accordance with the provisions applicable in society for each study program;
- The MBB group consists of courses that are relevant to efforts to understand and master the provisions that apply in living in society, both nationally and globally, which limit a person's work in accordance with his expertise competence;
EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Admission of new students
- National Selection for State University Entrance (SNMPTN),
- Joint Selection for State University Entrance (SBMPTN), and
- Independent line in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Especially for Master Study Programs (S2) and Diploma III Study Programs, new student admissions are only through the Independent Path.
- Requirements and the new student registration process are carried out at the University.
Conditions for re-registration of old students
- Have paid the SPP/UKT in the semester concerned in accordance with the schedule and applicable regulations.
- Show a certificate of reactivity issued by the university for those who take academic leave.
- Show a certificate of active return from the Chancellor for non- active students in college.
- Not students dropping out of college or dropping out.
- Not a student who was dishonorably dismissed.
In the event that the requirements and the registration process for new students are foreign nationals, the following additional conditions apply:
- Submit an application to become a student at the University of Mataram to Chancellor and copied to the Director General of Institutions/Ministries Education and culture.
- Get a study permit from the Director General of Institutions/Ministries Education and culture.
- Have met the immigration requirements to study and live in Indonesia.
- Agree to comply with academic regulations and guidelines at the University of Mataram.
- Having a clear funder (sponsor) while studying in Indonesia.
Displacement
- Every student has the right to transfer to a student in another study program within the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram or to transfer to become a student of the Faculty of Economics and Business at another university.
- Requirements to transfer to another university, as follows:
- Registered as an active student by completing a minimum study period of two semesters.
- Shows the free loan card for the Unram library and the NTB provincial library.
- Show a letter of permission to request a transfer from the student's parent/guardian.
- Procedure for transferring to another university:
- Fulfill and complete all requirements to move
- Submit a written application to transfer to another university to the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
- The requirements for moving to another study program within the Faculty of Economics and Business Unram are as follows:
- The student concerned has actively participated in academic activities for 2 (two) consecutive semesters.
- The student concerned has obtained a minimum of 20 credits.
- The student concerned has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Meet the capacity of the study program objectives.
- Procedure for moving to another study program within the Faculty of Economics and Unram's business, as follows:
- Students complete all requirements.
- Students with the permission or knowledge of parents or guardians student submits a letter of application to move to the Chancellor a copy to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
- The Chancellor makes a decision after considering the recommendations from the Dean
- If the Chancellor agrees, the student concerned must register repeated according to the provisions of the new study program

- The student concerned has actively participated in academic activities for 2 (two) consecutive semesters.
- The student concerned has obtained a minimum of 20 credits.

- Meet the capacity of the study program objectives.
- The procedure for moving to the Faculty of Economics and Business from other Faculties within Unram is as follows:
- Students complete all requirements.
- Students with the permission or knowledge of their parents or guardians submit a letter of application to move to the Chancellor and a copy to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
- The Chancellor makes a decision after considering the recommendations from the Dean
- If the Chancellor agrees, the student concerned must re-register according to the provisions at the Faculty of Economics and Business
- The Faculty of Economics and Business converts to the previous program courses
- Departments or study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business may accept transfer students from other State Universities (PTN), in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Requirements and procedures for moving to the Faculty of Economics and Business UNRAM from another university (PTN):
- Submit a letter of application to become a student of the Faculty of Economics to the Rector of Unram, and the application is made no later than one months before the end of the current semester.
- Registered as a student and actively studying for at least 2 (two) semesters successively at the State Universities of origin, and in accordance with the levels and Departments/Study Programs within the Faculty Economics and Business University of Mataram.
- The student concerned achieves a minimum cumulative achievement index of 2.50.
- Not a student dropped out and or was punished with disrespect.
- Accreditation of Study Programs at the original PTN, at least equal to the accreditation of the intended Study Program.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from the original PTN that the person concerned is of good behavior and free of drugs.
- Pay tuition in accordance with applicable regulations, at the same time as re-registration of old students.
- Submit the latest 6 pieces of 3 x 4 cm photos.
- Pay other obligations that have been determined by the University/Faculty of Economics.
- The period of study for transfer students is calculated from the time they are registered at the original PTN
