On March 11 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB UNRAM) held a workshop entitled “Preparation of Manual Calculations for Evaluation of CPL Achievement (Capstone Learning Project) Undergraduate Accounting Program.” This event was held in the FEB UNRAM Multimedia Room with high enthusiasm from students and teaching staff.
This workshop aims to provide undergraduate Accounting Program students with an in-depth understanding regarding the process of manually evaluating CPL achievement. CPL itself is an important component in the accounting education curriculum which emphasizes practical experience in integrating the knowledge and skills acquired during the study period.
In this workshop, participants were invited to understand the manual calculation method for evaluating CPL achievement, including data collection, analysis and reporting of evaluation results. The material is delivered by expert lecturers in the field of accounting who have extensive experience in the CPL evaluation process.
With this workshop, we hope that students can better understand the importance of CPL in developing their professional skills as prospective accountants. We also hope that understanding manual calculations will help them in facing the challenges of the world of work in the future.
The event took place smoothly and interactively, with participants actively asking questions and discussing various aspects related to evaluating CPL achievements. After the event was over, participants were given the opportunity to practice directly doing manual calculations with guidance from speakers and teaching staff.
It is hoped that this workshop can make a positive contribution in improving the quality of education and career preparation of students in the Undergraduate Accounting Program at FEB UNRAM. It is hoped that the spirit to continue to develop oneself and improve competence will be maintained, as an effort to produce graduates who are ready to compete in a competitive job market.
