HMJ Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram held the peak day of the International Unram Accounting Competition (UAC) on —- July 2024, at the —- Hotel. This event was the culmination of a series of competitions that had started several months earlier, involving participants from various well-known universities at home and abroad. The International Unram Accounting Competition (UAC) itself is a competition in the field of accounting organized by HMJ Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram. This competition consists of several strict selection stages, starting from the initial selection, the preliminary round, to the decisive final stage. On this peak day, the competition became even fiercer with the presence of the three best teams who managed to qualify for the final stage. The teams came from Airlangga University, Tunku Abdul Rahman University, and PKN STAN. Each team demonstrated extraordinary analytical skills and accounting knowledge through various challenges and case studies provided by the committee. Apart from the main competition, this event was also enlivened by various supporting activities such as seminars, workshops and networking sessions which brought together professionals and academics in the field of accounting. The International Unram Accounting Competition (UAC) aims to increase student competency in the field of accounting, expand networks, and strengthen relations between participating universities. This event is also a prestigious event which is expected to produce a generation of accountants who are reliable and ready to compete on the global stage. Support from various parties, including sponsors and work partners, played a big role in the success of this event. With high enthusiasm from the participants and full support from supporters, HMJ Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram hopes that the International Unram Accounting Competition (UAC) can continue to be a forum for self-development for accounting students and contribute positively to the development of the world of accounting in Indonesia and internationally.
