Mobility Program Universitas Utara Malaysia and Signing of MoA
Mataram, October 8, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the University of Mataram (UNRAM) held a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Mobility Program with the University of Utara Malaysia (UUM). The event took place at The Gade Creative Lounge and was attended by various parties, including the Dean of FEB UNRAM, lecturers, academics, and representatives from UUM. The Mobility Program aims to enhance academic cooperation between UNRAM and UUM, provide opportunities for students to experience different education systems, and encourage the exchange of knowledge and culture between students and lecturers of the two institutions. The Dean of FEB UNRAM in his remarks emphasized the importance of international collaboration in the world of higher education. He stated that this program not only provides academic experience for students, but also enriches cultural insights and expands international networks that will be beneficial for their future career development. After the signing of the MOA, the event continued with an interactive discussion and question and answer session. In this session, both parties discussed concrete steps that will be taken to implement the program, including plans for student and lecturer exchanges, as well as opportunities for research collaboration. With the implementation of this cooperation, it is expected to bring positive impacts to both universities, strengthen international relations, and contribute to improving the quality of education better in the global scope. The cooperation between FEB UNRAM and UUM reflects the commitment of both institutions in developing higher education with international standards, as well as preparing graduates who have global competence.
