Lecturers from Shangrao Normal University Visit Mataram University to Discuss Continuation of Mandarin Classes at FEB UNRAM

Mataram, 28 February 2025 – Mataram University (UNRAM) received a visit from two lecturers from Shangrao Normal University, China, namely Jiang Na and Ma Bin. Their visit was aimed at discussing the continuation of cooperation between Shangrao Normal University and Mataram University, especially regarding the Mandarin Class program in the D3 Tourism Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNRAM.

In the meeting which took place at UNRAM, lecturers from Shangrao Normal University met with the Dean of FEB UNRAM and the Head of the D3 Tourism Study Program FEB UNRAM. The discussion that took place discussed various aspects of the development of the Mandarin Class which is currently running for 2nd semester students at D3 Tourism UNRAM.

The Chancellor of UNRAM welcomed this visit and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in improving the quality of education at UNRAM. With the Mandarin Class, it is hoped that students will have better language skills to face the world of work, especially in the tourism sector which is increasingly developing in Indonesia.

This meeting was a positive step in strengthening academic relations between UNRAM and Shangrao Normal University, as well as ensuring the continuity of programs that are beneficial for students.
