Mataram, 24 November 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (FEB Unsika) on Monday, 24 November 2025. The delegation, consisting of faculty leaders and study program managers from FEB Unsika, was received at The Gade Creative Lounge FEB Unram.

The benchmarking visit aimed to gain insights into the management of two academic support units within FEB Unram: the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Investment Gallery and the Tax Center. These units have played a role in supporting financial literacy, investment education, and tax awareness among students and the broader community. Through this meeting, both faculties exchanged information on operational models, student engagement strategies, collaboration with external partners, and the development of academic support services.

The event began with welcoming remarks from Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, M.Si., Dean of FEB Universitas Mataram. In his remarks, he stated that the visit offered an opportunity for both institutions to share experiences and practices. “Benchmarking activities like this provide a space for us to understand how different academic support units are managed. We hope today’s discussions will offer useful insights for both faculties,” he said.

Following this, Dr. Gusganda Suria Manda, S.E., M.M., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB Unsika, expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and the opportunity to engage in direct discussions. “Our goal is to learn more about how the Investment Gallery and Tax Center are structured and operated, including their programs, student activities, and partnerships with the IDX and taxation institutions. These insights will be valuable as we continue developing similar units at FEB Unsika,” he noted.

The visit continued with a token exchange between the two faculties as a gesture of institutional goodwill. The delegation from FEB Unsika was also given a tour of FEB Unram facilities, including the Investment Gallery, Tax Center, academic service areas, and student activity spaces.

Through this benchmarking activity, both faculties aim to broaden their perspectives, strengthen institutional cooperation, and enhance the development of academic support units that contribute to improving the quality of education and student services.
