Tuesday, 30 November 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Malang (FEB UM). This agenda marks an important step in strengthening academic collaboration and advancing the tri dharma of higher education between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony took place at The Gade Creative Lounge FEB Unram, attended by faculty leaders, heads of study programs, and academic unit managers from both universities.

The event began with remarks from the Dean of FEB Unram, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, ST., M.Si., who stated:
“We warmly welcome this collaboration as an effort to broaden partnerships between faculties of economics and business. We hope this cooperation encourages beneficial programs that enhance students’ competencies, improve the quality of learning, and support the implementation of other academic activities.”

The session continued with remarks from the Dean of FEB Universitas Negeri Malang, Dr. Hadi Sumarsono, S.T., M.Si., who emphasized:
“This collaboration marks an important momentum for both faculties to exchange experiences, strengthen academic networks, and develop innovations in education, research, and community engagement.”

Following the speeches, both universities proceeded with the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Agreement (IA), involving respective study programs as well. The documents encompass cooperation in education, academic exchange, joint research, student competency development activities, and support for faculty innovation initiatives.

The event concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between FEB Unram and FEB UM as a symbol of the newly strengthened partnership. Through this cooperation, both faculties aim to foster productive and sustainable collaboration that brings positive impact to their academic communities.
