Mataram, July 31, 2025 — The Diploma III Tourism Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), held a Curriculum Reconstruction Workshop based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), along with the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) with various business and industrial partners in the tourism sector. This initiative was part of the effort to strengthen the “Link and Match” between higher education and the world of work (DUDIKA).

The event began with an opening speech by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB Unram, Dr. Embun Suryani, SE., M.Si., Ph.D., who represented the Dean of FEB Unram. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of aligning the vocational curriculum with current trends and demands in the tourism industry to ensure graduates are competent, adaptive, and job-ready.

The event continued with the signing of the Implementation Agreement between the Diploma III Tourism Program and various industry partners, including hotels, travel agents, and tourism service companies. This collaboration aims to provide students with hands-on learning experiences and foster curriculum innovation driven by real-world demands.

Following the signing session, the curriculum workshop was led by Maftucha, Dipl.Hot., SE., M.Par., who guided participants in designing an OBE-based curriculum that focuses on learning outcomes, skills development, and industry relevance. The session involved active discussions among faculty members, program managers, and industry representatives.

FEB Unram reaffirms its commitment to building strong synergies between academia and industry through adaptive, practical, and forward-looking educational programs.
