FEB Unram Welcomes Visit from FEBI UIN Palangkaraya, Formalizes Cooperation through MoA and IA

Mataram, December 12, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram (FEB Unram), welcomed an official visit from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI), UIN Palangkaraya, on Friday (12/12/2025). This visit marked a strategic step in strengthening institutional networks through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and an Implementation Agreement (IA) as a framework for academic and institutional collaboration.

The FEBI UIN Palangkaraya delegation was led by its Dean, Dr. Hj. Tri Hidayati, S.H.I., M.H., accompanied by the Vice Dean I, Vice Dean II, and several staff members. The delegation was warmly received by the Dean of FEB Unram, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, S.T., M.Si., along with the Vice Dean II and Vice Dean III. The welcoming ceremony took place at The Gade Creative Lounge, FEB Unram, in a friendly atmosphere that reflected a strong spirit of collaboration.

In his welcoming remarks, Dean of FEB Unram Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, S.T., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of inter-faculty cooperation in addressing future challenges in higher education.
“We are honored to welcome the delegation from FEBI UIN Palangkaraya. The signing of these cooperation documents is not merely ceremonial, but represents a shared commitment to advancing the tridharma of higher education, particularly in the areas of education, research, and community service,” he stated.

He further added that this collaboration is expected to open opportunities for lecturer and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and the development of curricula that are adaptive to the evolving demands of the times.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FEBI UIN Palangkaraya, Dr. Hj. Tri Hidayati, S.H.I., M.H., expressed her gratitude for the warm reception extended by FEB Unram. She described FEB Unram as a strategic partner with a strong commitment to improving academic quality and institutional development.
“We view FEB Unram as a progressive institution that is open to collaboration. Through this partnership, we hope to share best practices, strengthen human resource capacity, and enhance the quality of the implementation of the tridharma of higher education in both institutions,” she remarked.

The series of activities continued with the official signing of the MoA and IA by the leaders of both faculties as a formalization of the cooperation. This was followed by the exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of friendship and long-term collaborative commitment, as well as a joint photo session.

As the closing agenda, the FEBI UIN Palangkaraya delegation was invited to tour FEB Unram to observe various academic facilities and supporting units, including learning spaces, student activity units, and facilities that support innovation and creativity.

Through this visit and the formalization of cooperation, FEB Unram and FEBI UIN Palangkaraya are expected to strengthen inter-faculty synergy, encourage academic innovation, and make tangible contributions to the improvement of higher education quality in Indonesia.
