PKN Stan Initiates Collaboration with FEB Unram in International Conference
Tuesday, May 21, 2024 – A team of representatives from the STAN State Finance Polytechnic (PKN STAN) held a meeting with the leadership of the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram) in the Main Meeting Room of FEB Unram. This meeting aims to establish strategic cooperation between the two institutions in the context of implementing the 2024 Public Sector International Conference (PSIC). In this collaboration, FEB Unram will act as Co-Host.
The Public Sector International Conference (PSIC) is a global scientific meeting launched by a collaboration of various universities, dedicated to encouraging research progress in the public sector nationally. Previously known as the International Public Sector Conference (IPSC), PSIC has attracted significant participation from academics and policymakers since 2018. The conference has generated a large network of researchers focused on public sector issues, aiming to contribute to evidence-based development policies at international, national, regional and local levels.
Issues to be discussed in PSIC 2024: At the midpoint of implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the world remains vulnerable to disruptive shocks, including a rapidly evolving climate crisis and escalating global conflict. The urgency and necessity of achieving sustainable development emphasizes that strong global cooperation is needed now more than ever. Local financial vulnerability is a major problem amid high debt burdens that hamper economic activity. In developing countries, there are still many problems in sustainable development to increase local economic growth. Human resource development and environmental sustainability play an important role in driving global economic growth. Through collaboration and sharing knowledge of research results and local financial policies carried out by stakeholders in various regions, it is hoped that local financial problems will receive appropriate and in-depth solutions.
