Faculty Work Meeting 2026: FEB Unram Strengthens Program Direction and Governance

Mataram, 6–7 February 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram (FEB Unram), held the 2026 Faculty Work Meeting (Rapat Kerja Fakultas/RKF) as an annual strategic agenda to evaluate performance achievements in 2025 and to formulate policy directions and faculty work programs for 2026. The meeting was attended by the Dean of FEB Unram, Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments and Study Programs, leaders of academic support units, lecturers, educational staff, and external partners.
The series of activities commenced with an opening session, a joint prayer, and the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya. The Faculty Work Meeting was officially opened by the Dean of FEB Unram, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, M.Si., who emphasized that the meeting serves as a routine annual forum at the beginning of the year for reflecting on performance achievements and as a foundation for developing faculty work programs that are well-directed, measurable, and impactful.
Faculty Performance Evaluation for 2025

In his presentation, the Dean of FEB Unram explained that 2025 was a challenging year, particularly due to the impact of central government budget efficiency policies. Nevertheless, FEB Unram succeeded in achieving several strategic accomplishments.
FEB Unram became the faculty with the highest number of study programs accredited as Excellent within Universitas Mataram. All study programs submitted for accreditation in 2025 successfully obtained Excellent status. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of the entire academic community in meeting increasingly stringent higher education quality standards.
In addition, FEB Unram’s performance in achieving the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in 2025 was generally satisfactory. Several indicators that were not optimally achieved, particularly those related to student activities and the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, were influenced by budget limitations.
KPI Adjustment and Strategic Priorities for 2026
In 2026, national KPI policies underwent changes, with the number of indicators increasing from eight to eleven. This change requires strategic adjustments and alignment of work programs across all faculty units, from the faculty level to individual study programs.
In line with the university’s policy direction, FEB Unram established four strategic priorities for 2026: achieving Key Performance Indicators as institutional performance benchmarks; accelerating the attainment of Excellent accreditation for study programs; preparing for the transformation of Universitas Mataram from a Public Service Agency University (PTN BLU) to a Legal Entity State University (PTN BH); and strengthening the faculty’s role in supporting Universitas Mataram’s vision toward becoming a world-class university.
Accreditation and Internationalization
FEB Unram designated 2026 as a strategic year for the reaccreditation of several study programs at the Diploma III, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels. All academic units are encouraged to work synergistically to fulfill accreditation standards through strengthening performance documents, continuous evaluation, and improving the quality of learning.
To support internationalization, FEB Unram continues to enhance national and international cooperation with various universities and institutions across Asia, Australia, and Europe. Internationalization programs are directed toward organizing international conferences, research collaboration, increasing publications in reputable international journals, and strengthening faculty and student mobility, including the admission of international students.
Partner Evaluation and Internship Program
Following the closing of the opening session with a joint prayer, the meeting continued with an evaluation session involving external partners. On this occasion, FEB Unram invited a representative from the Mataram City Inspectorate, who is also an alumnus of FEB Unram, to present an evaluation of the student internship program.
The partner expressed appreciation for the contributions of FEB Unram students during their internships and provided input to ensure that future student placements are better aligned with study program competencies and learning outcomes. This alignment is expected to produce more measurable outputs and outcomes that benefit both students and partner institutions.
Presentation of Vice Deans’ Work Programs
After the partner evaluation session, the activities continued with a break for rest, prayer, and meals (ISOMA). Following ISOMA, the 2026 Faculty Work Meeting resumed with presentations of the 2026 work programs by the Vice Deans and academic support units.
In the academic sector, the presentations highlighted efforts to accelerate study program reaccreditation, align academic guidelines, strengthen outcome-based curricula, and improve the quality of learning. The faculty also emphasized the enhancement of research and community service outputs, particularly publications in reputable international journals.
In the student affairs sector, the discussion focused on strengthening impactful internship programs, improving on-time graduation rates, enhancing competency certification, and improving foreign language proficiency as part of preparing graduates for the workforce and global competition.
Meanwhile, in the finance and resources sector, strategies were presented to optimize non-tuition revenue through the development of supporting units and income-generating schemes, strengthen transparent and accountable financial governance, and adjust budgeting planning and reporting systems.
In the human resources and governance sector, the faculty encouraged improving the competencies of lecturers and educational staff through upskilling and upgrading programs, as well as strengthening support systems to ensure the effective implementation of academic and non-academic programs.
These presentations were followed by a discussion and feedback session, which emphasized the importance of integrating work programs across units, synchronizing activity planning, and maintaining consistency in achieving faculty performance targets.
Closing
Through the implementation of the 2026 Faculty Work Meeting, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthening institutional governance, improving academic quality, and optimizing the role of the entire academic community in supporting the achievement of faculty performance targets.
All evaluation results, inputs, and formulated work programs from this meeting will serve as the foundation for FEB Unram’s activities throughout 2026, particularly in supporting the achievement of Key Performance Indicators, accelerating Excellent accreditation, strengthening cooperation, and enhancing graduate competitiveness.
With a spirit of sustained collaboration and synergy, FEB Unram remains optimistic about contributing meaningfully to the development of Universitas Mataram and playing an active role in realizing a higher education institution that is excellent and competitive at both national and international levels.
