Accounting Department, FEB Unram Conducts Teaching Practice

Mataram, FEB Unram The Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram held a teaching practice class on the Hospitality Accounting course on Saturday, August 31, 2024 (3rd meeting). This teaching practice class was held with Sari Friska Pratiwi, M.Ak., CA as the Financial Controller of Lombok Astoria Hotel and Ajeng Anita, SE as Treasury Debt PT. Angkasa Putra Support. This teaching practice class was held offline in Building C, 3rd floor, Theater Building. Mrs. Sari Friska Pratiwi, M.Ak., CA, as the first speaker at the 3rd teaching practice meeting explained about accounting in hotels and the applications used by all employees in hotels. The discussion about hotel accounting did not only discuss the theory, but Mrs. Friska also provided accounting cases in hotels. In addition to accounting in hotels, this teaching practice also explained cases that occurred on flights explained by Mrs. Ajeng Anita, SE. This practical lecture activity is important to further introduce students to the application of technology and science in the world of work. According to the Ministry of Education and Culture (2022), teaching practitioners aim to (1) close the gap in graduate competencies; (2) Encourage collaboration between universities and the industrial world; (3) Prepare superior human resources in Indonesia.
