BP2EB Holds Workshop on Strategies for Securing Kemenristekdikti 2025 Research Grants, Featuring a Professor from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha

The Center for Economic and Business Research and Development (BP2EB) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram, successfully held a workshop titled “Strategies for Securing Kemenristekdikti 2025 Research Grant Proposals” on February 24, 2025, at the Main Conference Room of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram. This event aimed to enhance the quality and success rate of research grant proposals within the academic community.

The event began with an opening speech from the Head of BP2EB, Dr. Wahyunadi, M.Si., who emphasized that the workshop was expected to strengthen the capacity of academics in fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in research. Following this, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, St., M.Si., also delivered a speech encouraging participants to make the most of this opportunity to develop their research competencies.

“Let us take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge for the future, especially in the field of research,” said Dr. Ihsan in his remarks.

The workshop featured a distinguished speaker, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dewa Hendra Divayana, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., APEC.Eng., a Professor of Informatics Education at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha.

Through his presentation, Prof. Dewa provided participants with in-depth insights into Kemenristekdikti research grants, including funding schemes, available grant types, and the latest requirements and policies related to the program. Additionally, he elaborated on strategies for preparing competitive proposals, emphasizing the importance of selecting relevant and impactful topics and constructing a systematic and well-structured proposal framework.

After the first session, which lasted until 11:30 AM WITA, the workshop continued with the second session at 12:50 PM WITA. During this session, the speaker led a simulation and analysis of research grant proposals by examining successful proposal examples. This part of the event also included a proposal drafting simulation followed by group discussions to deepen participants’ understanding. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session and experience sharing from previous grant recipients, providing practical insights for participants in crafting high-quality research proposals.

Overall, the workshop offered comprehensive insights for participants to understand the mechanisms of Kemenristekdikti research grants and the strategies for preparing quality proposals. Through lectures, simulations, and interactive discussions, participants gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience applicable to grant proposal preparation. It is hoped that this event will enhance the capacity of academics to produce innovative and competitive research, thereby contributing to the advancement of knowledge and national development.
