Briefing for Impactful Internship Students of the Undergraduate Program in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unram, Odd Semester, Academic Year 2025/2026

Mataram, 27 Agustus 2025 – The Bachelor of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), held the Internship Preparation Program (Pembekalan Mahasiswa Magang Berdampak) for the Odd Semester of the Academic Year 2025/2026. The event took place at the FEB Unram Main Conference Hall and was attended by internship students, the Head of Department, and the Secretary of the Management Department.

This program aims to provide knowledge, insights, and readiness for students before entering the professional world through their internship program. With this preparation, students are expected to integrate the theoretical knowledge gained in class with practical experience in the field, thus building strong competencies that align with the needs of both industry and society.

In his remarks, the Head of the Management Department emphasized the importance of internships as part of the implementation of Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). “Internships are not just about fulfilling academic requirements, but also a platform for self-development, soft skills, and professional character that will equip students to face global competition,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Management Department added that this impactful internship program is expected to benefit not only students but also partner institutions, fostering collaborative relationships that are mutually beneficial.

The participating students showed great enthusiasm and actively engaged in the discussion sessions. They received technical guidance related to internship mechanisms, placement procedures, and reporting requirements.

Through this preparation program, FEB Unram Management students are expected to be ready to undertake impactful internships with full responsibility, and to contribute meaningfully to businesses, industries, and government institutions that serve as partners.
