Chinese Consul General in Denpasar Visits University of Mataram Mandarin Language Center
The University of Mataram received a visit from the Chinese Consul General in Denpasar, in order to strengthen educational cooperation and support the plan to establish a Confucius Institute.
The event began with an official welcome in front of the Rectorate Building attended by university leaders, Mandarin Language Center staff, and representatives from the Chinese Consulate. A warm welcome was delivered by the Rector and the Consul General, followed by the presentation of flowers and a group photo session.
The activity continued with a discussion session in the meeting room, where the Mandarin Language Center lecturer, explained the development of the center and the application process for the Confucius Institute. The university leadership and the Consul General also gave their views and support for this cooperation.
Afterwards, the group visited the Chinese language classrooms and the Chinese culture exhibition area. The visit was closed with an exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of friendship.
This activity is an important step in strengthening academic relations between Mataram University and Chinese partners.
