This program is conducted in collaboration with various Business and Industrial sectors (DUDI) across multiple fields. The event took place at the Main Theater Room of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Mataram.
A total of 143 students will participate in the internship program until December 2025. The MBKM program is designed not only to introduce students directly to the professional world but also to enable them to apply the theories learned in lectures to real-world work practices.
The event was officially opened by the Secretary of the IESP Department, Mrs. Baiq Saripta Wijimulawiani, SE., M.Si., accompanied by one of the IESP lecturers, Dr. Hj. St. Maryam, M.Si. In her speech, Mrs. Baiq Saripta Wijimulawiani emphasized that this program plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ value. With relevant skills and industrial knowledge, students are expected to be well-prepared to face future job market challenges.
“In this MBKM program, I hope all students will follow the rules at their internship placements, respect others, and manage their time effectively. This way, you can become adaptable individuals with added value in the professional world,” said Dr. Hj. St. Maryam, M.Si.
Students were also given motivational messages to make the most of this opportunity. They are encouraged to demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm, and the skills they have developed during their studies to deliver their best performance. This internship program will later be converted into academic credits equivalent to 20 SKS (Semester Credit Units).
At the same event, the student send-off was led by the Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs of FEB UNRAM, Mrs. Embun Suryani, SE, M.Si., Ph.D., along with the Head of the IESP Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, Dr. Luluk Fadliyanti, S.E., M.Si.
