Mataram, October 31, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Mataram, in collaboration with Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) Indonesia NTB, held an inspirational and educational sharing session entitled “How to Prepare for Your PhD.” The event took place on Friday, October 31, 2025, starting at 1:30 PM WITA at The Gade Room, 1st Floor, FEB University of Mataram.

The session featured Aida Tara, S.E., M.M., Ph.D., an academic and recipient of the Australia Awards Scholarship, as the keynote speaker. She shared valuable insights on strategies and key preparation steps for students and alumni aspiring to pursue doctoral studies, particularly through international scholarship programs.

During her presentation, Aida Tara highlighted the importance of strong preparation, including research proposal development, academic and English proficiency enhancement, as well as building a solid track record in professional and community engagement.

“Pursuing a PhD is not merely about earning a degree, but about contributing to knowledge and creating real impact for society,” she emphasized.

The event was held as part of FEB Unram’s initiative to support students and alumni in expanding their global education perspectives and strengthening academic competitiveness at the international level.

Participants showed high enthusiasm, actively engaging in discussions about scholarship tips, PhD research, and managing overseas study life. The event also provided valuable networking opportunities with Australia Awards Scholarship Indonesia NTB.

Through this program, FEB University of Mataram hopes to encourage more students and alumni to pursue doctoral education and contribute to regional and national development through high-quality education.
