Mataram, October 28, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Mataram, held a Preparation Meeting for the Association of Indonesian Faculties of Economics and Business (AFEBI) Event, which will be hosted in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, in 2025. The meeting took place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Multimedia Room, Building A, FEB University of Mataram.

The meeting served as an initial step in ensuring the readiness of FEB University of Mataram as the host institution for the national AFEBI 2025 event. It was attended by the Chairperson of AFEBI for the 2024/2025 period, the leadership board of FEB Unram, and the local organizing committee responsible for managing the upcoming event.

In his opening remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, expressed that being chosen as the host of the AFEBI event is both an honor and a great responsibility for FEB Unram to deliver an outstanding event.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of AFEBI for the 2024/2025 period extended appreciation to FEB Unram for its enthusiasm and readiness to host the national event. He also emphasized the importance of synergy among faculties of economics and business across Indonesia in strengthening the role of higher education in supporting national economic development.

The meeting was held in a productive and collaborative atmosphere, discussing key aspects such as technical implementation, activity schedules, committee coordination, and the preparation of facilities and infrastructure within the FEB Unram campus.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, reaffirms its commitment to being a professional, hospitable, and well-prepared host, ready to contribute to the successful implementation of AFEBI 2025 in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
