FEB Conducts 2025 New Student Campus Life Introduction (PKKMB): Cultivating a Spirit of Collaboration and Achievement
Mataram, 12–14 August 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Mataram held the 2025 Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) with a series of inspiring and engaging activities. The faculty-level program took place on 12–13 August 2025, followed by the department-level activities on 14 August 2025. All events were centered at the M. Yusuf Abu Bakar Auditorium, University of Mataram.
The opening ceremony was officially led by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram. In his address, he emphasized the importance of new students in building adaptive, creative, and competitive character. “New students are the fresh energy of our faculty. Let us use this study period to grow, achieve, and inspire,” he remarked.
The event was also attended by the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, and the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Economics and Business. Their presence reflected the faculty’s strong commitment to guiding new students from the very start of their academic journey.
PKKMB FEB 2025 welcomed new students from the Bachelor’s Program in Management, Bachelor’s Program in Accounting, Bachelor’s Program in Economics and Development Studies, as well as the Diploma Three Programs in Tourism, Taxation, and Accounting. The participants received various materials, including introductions to the academic system, campus regulations, and the core values of the University of Mataram.
Beyond academic orientation, PKKMB also provided opportunities for personal growth through motivational sessions, introductions to student organizations, and basic skills workshops. These activities were designed to foster a sense of unity, responsibility, and readiness among new students as they enter the dynamic world of campus life.
With the conclusion of the program on 14 August 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, officially welcomed a new generation of students—ready to contribute to the advancement of the faculty and the university, and to pursue a bright and impactful future.
