Mataram, September 13, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB UNRAM) has demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by becoming a partner in the Exclusive Lombok MSMEs Mentored by the Ministry of Finance event, which is part of the International Community Service 2024. The event is themed “Innovative SMEs Towards Digital Marketing” and will be held on Friday, September 12, 2024, at the KPPN Mataram Hall from 08.00 to 16.00 WITA. The event was attended by around 60 MSMEs under the guidance of the West Nusa Tenggara Finance Office. They received intensive guidance on digital transformation and innovative marketing from various expert speakers. Also present were leading academics from several countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines, Helsinki, and South Korea, as well as academics from various higher education institutions in Indonesia, including PKN STAN, Universitas Terbuka, FEB UNRAM, Poltek STIA LAN, and Universitas Hindu. In addition, officials from the Ministry of Finance in West Nusa Tenggara also participated, emphasizing the importance of synergy between the government, academics, and MSMEs in strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era. Through this event, MSMEs in Lombok are expected to increase their capacity in facing global market challenges through the use of digital technology and more innovative marketing strategies. FEB UNRAM, as a partner in this event, continues to support efforts to improve the quality of MSMEs in Lombok and its surroundings in order to encourage more sustainable local economic growth.
