The Lively Peak of FEB Unram’s 62nd Anniversary Strengthens Unity Among the Academic Community and Alumni

Mataram, December 6, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram (FEB Unram), held the peak event of its 62nd Anniversary Celebration on Saturday (December 6, 2025) in a lively and festive atmosphere filled with togetherness. The event marked the culmination of a series of anniversary activities that had been carried out over the preceding period.
The peak celebration was attended by the Rector of Universitas Mataram along with members of the university leadership, the deanery of FEB Unram, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and FEB Unram alumni from various cohorts. The presence of all elements of the academic community and alumni reflected the strong sense of unity and belonging within the FEB Unram family.
The series of activities began with a joint aerobic exercise session enthusiastically participated in by all attendees, followed by a healthy walk around the campus area. Beyond promoting a healthy lifestyle, these activities also served as a means to strengthen bonds and foster interaction among university leaders, academics, students, and alumni.
The atmosphere grew even more vibrant with a variety of entertainment performances, including live music, traditional dances, and the iconic Gendang Beleq performance from Lombok, which drew great enthusiasm from the participants. The celebration was further enlivened by the distribution of door prizes, adding excitement and joy to the event.
The peak celebration was also highlighted by the presentation of awards and prizes to members of the academic community who won various competitions held as part of the 62nd Anniversary series. These competitions involved lecturers, administrative staff, and students, and were designed to foster creativity, sportsmanship, and a strong sense of togetherness within FEB Unram.
In his remarks, the Rector of Universitas Mataram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to the management and academic community of FEB Unram for their outstanding achievements throughout 2025. One of the key accomplishments highlighted was the significant improvement in the accreditation status of study programs at FEB Unram.
“FEB Unram has demonstrated remarkable progress. From previously having no study programs with an ‘Excellent’ status, it has now successfully achieved four study programs with excellent accreditation. This is a commendable achievement and a testament to the collective hard work of the entire academic community,” the Rector stated.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FEB Unram, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, S.T., M.Si., expressed his gratitude for the successful implementation of the entire series of anniversary activities. He also conveyed his appreciation to the organizing committee and all parties who contributed to the success of the event.
“The 62nd Anniversary celebration serves as a moment of reflection on FEB Unram’s journey and a reinforcement of our shared commitment to continuously improving quality and institutional performance in the future,” he said.
The Chair of the 62nd Anniversary Organizing Committee, Dra. Ida Ayu Putri Suprapti, M.A., presented a report on the activities, explaining that the anniversary celebration encompassed a wide range of programs, including competitions, academic activities, and community service initiatives. All activities were designed to actively involve the entire FEB Unram academic community while delivering positive impacts both internally and externally.
As a closing highlight, the organizing committee distributed door prizes to participants, further enhancing the festive atmosphere of the peak celebration. The spirit of togetherness, gratitude, and joy was evident throughout the event.
Through the peak celebration of its 62nd Anniversary, FEB Unram hopes to continue strengthening synergy and unity among its academic community, improving institutional achievements, and reaffirming its commitment to becoming an excellent, competitive, and impactful faculty at both regional and national levels.
