FEB Unram Holds Document Updating Workshop to Enhance the Quality of Faculty Governance and Administration

Mataram, April 7, 2026 – In an effort to strengthen organizational governance systems and ensure accountable administrative quality, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), organized an important agenda in the form of a Faculty Document Updating Workshop on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The activity, held intensively in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of Building A FEB Unram, was designed to conduct an in-depth review and synchronization of all databases and official documents that serve as the operational foundation of the faculty. This step is considered crucial given the dynamic nature of higher education regulations, which require institutions to remain responsive in updating standard operating procedures and other supporting documents.
The workshop was led directly by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FEB Unram, Mrs. Baiq Anggun Hilendri Lestari, S.E., Ak., CA., M.Si. In her opening remarks, she emphasized that document updating is not merely a routine archiving activity, but rather a strategic effort to maintain institutional integrity. She highlighted that all data managed by the faculty, ranging from personnel matters to student achievements, must possess high validity and accessibility. This is closely related to FEB Unram’s commitment to maintaining and improving excellent service standards for the entire academic community, while also ensuring readiness for increasingly rigorous audit processes and accreditation visits.
The discussions in this workshop involved active participation from various key elements within FEB Unram. Among those present were the Head of the Academic Working Team, staff from the student affairs and partnership divisions, as well as personnel staff. This cross-sector participation was intended to achieve data harmonization; for instance, ensuring that student achievement data in the student affairs division aligns with academic reporting, and that records of faculty competency development within the personnel division are well-documented for faculty needs. In addition to administrative elements, the involvement of members from the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS) and lecturers added further depth to the workshop, as they provided substantive perspectives on the relevance of documents to teaching and learning processes at the study program level.
Furthermore, the workshop also focused on document digitalization and more systematic physical archive management. Participants collaboratively reviewed draft versions of older documents and adjusted them to comply with the latest regulations applicable within the University of Mataram and the ministry. Through solid coordination between administrative and academic teams, it is expected that data overlap—often a barrier to decision-making at the leadership level—can be eliminated. Transparency and data accuracy were the primary targets to be achieved through this meeting.
As a closing of the activity, several follow-up points were agreed upon, including the standardization of document formats and a schedule for periodic updates to be carried out by each working unit. This workshop stands as clear evidence of FEB Unram’s commitment to continuous improvement in organizational management. With well-organized, valid, and up-to-date documentation, FEB Unram is optimistic about enhancing its competitiveness at both national and international levels, while continuing to provide fast, precise, and transparent administrative services to all stakeholders.
