Mataram, December 30, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Mataram, hosted the Members’ Meeting for the Election of the Chairperson of the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI), West Nusa Tenggara Branch, held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Main Conference Room of FEB, University of Mataram.

The meeting was attended by members of ISEI West Nusa Tenggara Branch, consisting of academics, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field of economics. This members’ meeting served as a strategic organizational forum to carry out a democratic process in electing the next Chairperson of ISEI West Nusa Tenggara Branch.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, expressed appreciation for the trust placed in FEB Unram as the host of the event. He emphasized that collaboration between higher education institutions and professional organizations such as ISEI plays a vital role in fostering academic development, shaping regional economic policies, and contributing meaningfully to the development of West Nusa Tenggara.

The meeting was conducted in an orderly and participatory manner, with the main agenda including the presentation of the previous management’s accountability report and the election process for the new chairperson. The forum is expected to produce visionary leadership that is responsive to regional and national economic challenges.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, reaffirmed its commitment to serving as a center of academic and intellectual engagement that supports the strengthening of professional networks and the advancement of knowledge-based economic development in West Nusa Tenggara.
