FEB Unram Holds Monitoring and Evaluation of Student Organization Work Programs

Wednesday, May 28, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram) through the Division of Student Affairs and Alumni (Division 3) carried out Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities on the implementation of the Student Organization (Ormawa) work program. This activity took place in the Main Conference Room of FEB Unram and was attended by administrators from 17 Ormawa, Head of the Student and Alumni Affairs Work Team Muhammad Jamil, Deputy Dean 3 for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Lalu M. Furkan, SE., MM., Ph.D., and Vice Dean 2 FEB Unram Baiq Anggun Hilendri Lestari, SE., Ak., M.Si.

In his direction, Vice Dean 3, Dr. Lalu M. Furkan, emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation as an effort to maintain the quality of Ormawa’s work program in line with the vision of the faculty and university.

“From now on, we must try to make the work programs made by Ormawa to be internationally oriented, must be in line with the vision of the faculty and university,” he said.

Meanwhile, Vice Dean 2, Baiq Anggun Hilendri Lestari, SE, Ak, M.Si., gave the view that the quality of activities is more important than quantity. She encouraged Ormawa to prioritize collaboration in carrying out activities.

“There is no need for each division in Ormawa to compete in making activities. Just a few activities but work together, prioritize collaboration,” he said.
“Making international level activities is difficult, but we still have to try. If it’s not possible, just make national level ones. We must abandon local activities, especially only at the Unram level,” he continued.

In the discussion session, the administrators of Ormawa actively conveyed various obstacles faced, ranging from administrative issues to the mechanism for submitting activity funds. The discussion took place dynamically between the Ormawa administrators and the vice deans in order to create a common understanding and applicable solutions.

This activity is expected to be a moment of reflection for all FEB Unram Ormawa to improve the quality and impact of each work program carried out, while encouraging the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and international orientation in the campus environment. It is also an input for leaders to make policies that are a win-win solution between the campus and students.
