FEB Unram Holds Seminar: “Increasing the Chances of Articles Being Accepted in Scopus Journals – Practical Tips and Tricks”

Mataram, September 10, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), continues to strengthen its academic quality by organizing a seminar titled “Enhancing the Chances of Articles Being Accepted in Scopus Journals: Practical Tips and Tricks” on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the FEB Unram Postgraduate Building.
This seminar was specifically designed to provide insights, strategies, and practical skills for lecturers and students in preparing scholarly works that meet international standards. The main focus of the seminar was on improving the quality of articles to meet the rigorous requirements of reputable Scopus-indexed journals.
During the sessions, speakers highlighted the importance of research novelty, systematic writing structures, and selecting journals relevant to the field of study. Technical tips were also shared, such as the proper use of academic language, effective reference management, and strategies for responding to reviewers to increase the likelihood of acceptance.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of FEB Unram emphasized that this seminar is part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance the productivity and quality of academic publications. “Publishing in reputable international journals is not only crucial for academic career development but also for strengthening the visibility and reputation of the university globally. Through this seminar, we hope our lecturers and students gain the confidence to produce works that can compete at the international level,” he stated.
