Visit of PT. Bank Pengkreditan Rakyat Graha Lestari with representatives of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of West Nusa Tenggara Province to FEB Unram
On Friday, November 22, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram proudly welcomed special guests from PT. Bank Pengkreditan Rakyat Graha Lestari together with representatives of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of West Nusa Tenggara Province. This activity took place at The Gade Creative Lounge, one of the creative spaces at FEB Unram which is often the center of discussion and collaboration.
This event was held to commemorate Financial Inclusion Month 2024 initiated by the Department of Literacy, Financial Inclusion, and Communication. With the theme “Increasing Financial Awareness and Understanding in the Digital Era”, this activity aims to provide insight to the FEB Unram academic community, especially students of the Department of Social Development Economics, about the importance of financial literacy and inclusion in sustainable economic development.
In a warm and enthusiastic discussion, participants received direct exposure from experts regarding various programs, services, and the role of the financial industry in supporting community welfare. The presence of guests from OJK NTB and BPR Graha Lestari is an important momentum to strengthen the synergy between the academic world and the financial industry, while also equipping students with practical knowledge that is relevant to the world of work.
This activity is not only a means of education, but also a forum to establish closer communication and collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram and financial institutions in the NTB region. With the spirit of inclusion, this event is expected to have a positive impact on increasing financial literacy among students and the wider community
