Mataram, August 4–13, 2025 – The Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Mataram, successfully held its Matriculation Program for new students of the 2025/2026 academic year. The event took place over ten days, from August 4 to August 13, 2025, at the Magister Building of FEB Unram.

Matriculation serves as a regular academic agenda aimed at introducing new students to the academic environment at the postgraduate level. The program not only introduces the curriculum and learning system but also provides fundamental knowledge of research methodology, academic literacy, and basic managerial insights essential for their graduate studies.

In his remarks, the Coordinator of the Master of Management Program emphasized that matriculation is a crucial first step in building students’ readiness. “Matriculation acts as a bridge from undergraduate to postgraduate studies. New students must be well-prepared, both in methodological understanding, academic ethics, and critical thinking skills, to succeed in their coursework and produce quality scientific work,” he explained.

The matriculation agenda included introductory lectures, curriculum orientation, an overview of the academic quality assurance system, as well as soft skills development sessions. Additionally, new students had the opportunity to engage in discussions with lecturers and senior students, fostering a collaborative and interactive academic atmosphere.

Students joining the Master of Management program come from diverse professional backgrounds, including civil servants, private sector employees, entrepreneurs, and academicians. This diversity enriches the learning process, broadens classroom discussions, and brings multiple perspectives to contemporary management issues.

Through this matriculation, the Master of Management Program at FEB Unram reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students from the very beginning of their academic journey. The program hopes that students will complete their studies on time, produce impactful research, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of management knowledge at the regional, national, and global levels.
