The National Conference UNRAM TAX FESTIVAL 2024 was successfully held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Theater Room, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram with the theme “The Role of Tax Digitalization System Escalation in Efforts to Increase Fulfillment of Shipping Obligations.” This event is an important discussion forum for stakeholders in the world of taxation, especially in facing challenges in the digital era. The conference was attended by prominent speakers such as Mr. Dr. Samingung, Ak., M.Ak., who currently serves as Head of the Nusra Regional Tax Office, Mr. Achmad Dimyadi, S.H., who is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, and Mr. Andy Matatta, S.Ak., CTC., BKP, an experienced tax consultant. The speakers provided in-depth insights into the importance of improving the tax digitalization system as a strategic step to support the fulfillment of tax obligations, especially in the context of shipping goods which is a crucial part of the modern economy. They also discussed various solutions and innovations that can be implemented to ensure that the tax system in Indonesia can adapt to changing times, increase efficiency, and provide maximum benefits for the government and society. This conference is expected to be a starting point for improving the tax system in Indonesia to be more transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the times.
