OPENING OF MATRICULATION FOR STUDENTS Batch-41 FY 2024/2025 AND PUBLIC LECTURES

Welcome to all new students of the Mataram University Master of Management Program for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. To welcome new students, Matriculation and Public Lecture activities were held on Monday, July 29 2024. This matriculation activity is designed to introduce new students to various important aspects of the Master of Management Program. Students get a complete overview of the curriculum that will be taken, the learning methods that will be used, as well as various academic facilities that can be utilized during their studies. Apart from that, this activity also provides an opportunity for students to get to know lecturers and teaching staff, as well as understand the ethics and academic culture that must be upheld. The activity began with a welcoming speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mataram University, Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, M.Sc. In his speech, he expressed his hopes and also the internationalization efforts being carried out by the faculty, and invited students to participate in these efforts. The Dean emphasized the importance of student contributions in achieving the faculty’s global vision and emphasized the active role of students in various academic and non-academic activities. Next, the activity continued with an orientation guided by the Chair and Secretary of the Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, namely Mrs. Embun Suryani, SE., M.Sc., Ph.D and Mrs. Dr. Ir. Santi Nururly, MM. In this session, they explained in detail the study process for the Master of Management and the things that new students need to prepare. The explanation includes curriculum structure, evaluation methods, research opportunities, exchanges, and various facilities that can support the teaching and learning process. This Matriculation activity is an important first step in preparing yourself to study well. We are confident that the experience gained during this activity will be a valuable provision in studying the Master of Management Program. We also hope that new students can actively participate in various academic and non-academic activities, and contribute to achieving the faculty’s internationalization vision.
