Public Lecture Visiting Professor Accounting Study Program Feb Unram from Curtin University
The Guest Lecture was again held by the Accounting Department, FEB Unram, presenting Dr. Imran Haider, a lecturer from Curtin University Australia. This time the theme was “Enhancing Corporate Accountability and Transparency Through Good Corporate Governance in the Hospitality Industry”. This event was held at the Theater Building, 3rd Floor, Building C, FEB Unram, Saturday, September 21, 2024. This event was attended by 150 participants from the Accounting study program. Moderated by lecturer Baiq Kris Nina Maharani Putri, S.Ak., M.Acc. This guest lecture discussed Improving Corporate Accountability and Transparency Through Good Corporate Governance in the Hospitality Industry and also about research that can not only be done by postgraduate students, but undergraduate students can also start by looking for a supervisor whose field of knowledge is in accordance with the research topic. Dr. Imran also gave tips for finding research topics about developing countries. When delivering the material, he also opened a question and answer session so that this guest lecture became an open discussion and ended with a brief review by the moderator. It is hoped that the guest lecture participants will gain knowledge and enthusiasm to start research.
