Revocation of Candidate Numbers for Chairman and Secretary General Attended Enthusiastically
Mataram, November 26, 2024 – An atmosphere full of enthusiasm enveloped the retraction of the serial numbers of candidates for Chairperson and Secretary General which was held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at The Gade, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Mataram (Unram). The event was attended by all prospective participants, the committee, and a number of related parties who witnessed the process which took place smoothly and orderly.
This event is an important series ahead of the General Election held to elect new leaders within the FEB Unram student body. The revocation of serial numbers is a highly anticipated stage by the candidates, because this serial number will determine the order of candidate pairs in the upcoming elections.
The first candidate pair to receive their numbers was Kamarudin and Husniah Azrani, who received number one. The pair felt grateful for the number they got and hoped to gain full support from FEB Unram students. Kamarudin, who is a candidate for chairman, revealed that the retraction of the serial numbers is an important step in the journey towards the General Election, and he and Husniah are ready to take on great responsibility if given the mandate to lead.
Meanwhile, the second candidate pair who received serial number two was M. Rozi Fatwa Ilham and Hikmal Akbar. This serial number is also a source of pride for both of them, who are ready to give their best if elected later. M. After the numbering, the two pairs of candidates held a question and answer session with the participants to explain their vision and mission. This democratic process is expected to increase student participation in choosing the best leaders for the future of FEB Unram.
With the withdrawal of serial numbers that has been carried out, it is now only a matter of waiting for the voting day that will determine who will lead FEB Unram for the next term. This election process is a place to show the spirit of democracy and active participation of students in campus life.
