Soft Launching of the 61st Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram
On October 18, 2024, the Soft Launching of the 61st Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram was successfully held in front of Building A of the Faculty of Economics and Business. This event was the beginning of a grand celebration to commemorate more than six decades of the faculty’s contribution in forming superior generations in the fields of economics and business. The soft launching event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mr. Dr. Ihsan Ro’is., M.Si, who said that this Anniversary is a new spirit for the entire academic community. He emphasized the importance of this momentum as an encouragement to continue to be enthusiastic, innovate, and collaborate in realizing the faculty’s great ideals. In addition, the Dean also emphasized FEB’s commitment to realizing the faculty’s vision and mission towards going international, making FEB a competitive educational institution on the global stage. With the theme “Empowering Generations Through Culture For a Better Future”, this year’s Anniversary underlines the importance of empowering the younger generation through cultural preservation and innovation to shape a better future. The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, is committed to producing a generation that is academically intelligent, rich in cultural values, and able to compete at the international level. The success of this soft launching event has opened the door for a series of other inspiring activities, including national seminars, workshops, academic competitions, and work exhibitions. These activities aim to encourage collaboration between students, lecturers, alumni, and faculty partners, while promoting innovation and sustainability in the fields of economics and business. This 61st Dies Natalis is also the right time for reflection, strengthening the role of FEB in education, research, and community service. With a new spirit and strong commitment to going international, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram continues to strive to produce generations that are ready to face global challenges, with a strong spirit of innovation and culture.
