The Diploma 3 Tourism Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unram, Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of Learning and Distribution of Teaching Duties for the Odd Semester of 2025/2026 as an Effort to Strengthen the Quality of Education and Academic Governance.

Mataram, August 11, 2025 – The Diploma in Tourism Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Mataram, held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Learning and the Assignment of Teaching Duties for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year at Building D, FEB Unram. This activity served as an important agenda aimed at ensuring the effectiveness of the learning process while proportionally distributing lecturers’ teaching workloads.

The event was attended by the Head and Secretary of the Diploma in Tourism Program along with all lecturers teaching within the program. All lecturers actively participated in discussions and evaluations, with the goal of assessing learning outcomes, identifying challenges encountered in the previous semester, and formulating strategies for improvement to enhance the quality of teaching in the upcoming semester.

The learning Monev functioned as a crucial platform for academic reflection, as well as a collaborative forum to ensure alignment between learning plans, teaching methods, and the expected outcomes. Meanwhile, the teaching assignments were organized systematically to support an equitable distribution of workload among lecturers and to guarantee that each course is delivered by lecturers with expertise in the respective fields.

Through this activity, the Diploma in Tourism Program of FEB Unram reaffirmed its commitment to providing high-quality, adaptive learning that is relevant to the evolving dynamics of the tourism industry. The outcomes of the Monev and teaching assignments are expected to serve as the foundation for creating a more conducive, innovative academic atmosphere, with a strong focus on enhancing student competencies.

This initiative also strengthens the role of the Diploma in Tourism Program, FEB Unram, in supporting the vision of the faculty and the university to produce professional, competitive graduates capable of making meaningful contributions to the development of the tourism sector at local, national, and global levels.
