The Unram Faculty of Economics and Business Tax Center Holds a Tax Talk Event to Improve Student Tax Literacy

Mataram, August 27, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), through the Tax Center, held the “Pajak Bertutur” (Tax Talk) program on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the FEB Unram Theater Hall. The event was attended by the Dean of FEB Unram along with the faculty leadership, and featured distinguished speakers consisting of both practitioners and academics with expertise in taxation.
The Pajak Bertutur program represents FEB Unram’s strong commitment to supporting the national agenda of enhancing tax literacy among the younger generation, particularly university students. Through this activity, students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of tax awareness, not only as a civic duty but also as a tangible contribution to national development.
In his remarks, the Dean of FEB Unram expressed his highest appreciation for the successful organization of this event. He emphasized that Pajak Bertutur serves as an effective platform to instill tax compliance values early on, especially for students who will eventually enter the workforce and become future taxpayers.
The main session was delivered by expert speakers who discussed various important topics, including tax awareness, tax reporting procedures, and the latest developments in taxation policies. The program was conducted in an interactive manner, allowing students to engage in discussions and a question-and-answer session with the speakers.
Through Pajak Bertutur, the Tax Center FEB Unram hopes to nurture a young generation that is not only academically competent but also possesses a high level of tax awareness and responsibility.
