Biography

A Dedicated Academic and Economics Practitioner

Born in Rabadompu-Rasanae on June 29, 1979, he is currently active as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (UNRAM). Beyond his teaching responsibilities, he holds the structural position of Head of the Diploma 3 (D3) Taxation Study Program at the same faculty.

Educational Background

He possesses a solid academic track record in the field of economics. He completed his Bachelor of Economics (S.E.) at the University of Mataram in 2003. Pursuing his interest in development economics, he obtained his Master of Science (M.Si) from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2005. He culminated his doctoral studies at Universitas Brawijaya in 2013, earning a Doctorate (Dr.) in Economics.

Professional Experience and Expert Consultant

Beyond academia, he has extensive experience as an Expert Team Member and Consultant for various regional government agencies in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). His expertise is frequently sought to support strategic policy-making, including:

  • Regional Government of NTB: Serving as an Expert Team Member/Consultant for the Regional Secretariat of NTB in the field of Economics and Business since 2020. He also previously served as an Expert Team Member at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of NTB Province (2023–2024).

  • DPRD NTB: Currently listed as an Expert Team Member for Commission III of the NTB Provincial Parliament (DPRD) for the period of April 2023 to February 2025.

  • Other Agencies: Contributed as a Research Quality Assurance Team Member for the Research and Development Agency (Balitbang) of Mataram City (2022) and as a Feasibility Expert Team Member for PD. BPR NTB (2023).

Organizations and Competencies

His dedication to the development of science and public policy is also reflected through his active involvement in professional organizations:

  • MAKPI: Head of the Nusa Tenggara Cluster for the Indonesian Public Policy Society (Masyarakat Kebijakan Publik Indonesia) for the 2023–2028 tenure.

  • ISEI: Head of the Cooperation Division at the Indonesian Economists Association (Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia) since November 2022.

To support his professionalism, he has held Lecturer Certification since 2015 and BKD Assessor Certification since 2022. He further expanded his competencies by obtaining two Sharia Economics Competency Certifications in 2024.
