Biography

Born in Mataram City on December 3, 1974, she is an academic and professional in the field of economics who currently serves as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram for the period 2025–2029. In addition, she is also active as a lecturer in the Management Study Program at the same faculty.

His educational journey began with a Bachelor of Economics (S.E) degree from the University of Mataram in 1997. He then continued his master’s studies at Gadjah Mada University, and successfully obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in 2001. His dedication and commitment to science led him to pursue a doctoral education at Nagoya University, Japan, and graduated with a Ph.D. in 2020.

Outside of academic activities, Embun Suryani is also active in professional organizations. She is listed as a member of the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI) for the 2022–2025 period, reflecting her ongoing contribution to the development of the world of economics and higher education in Indonesia.
