Department of Management Faculty of Economics and Business Unram Releases 293 Students in the MBKM Batch V Program
The University of Mataram (UNRAM) has once again confirmed its commitment to broadening the horizons and experiences of its students through the Archipelago Learning Internship (MBKM) program. This time, as many as 293 students from the Management Study Program (Prodi) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNRAM were released to join various MBKM activities, carving out a stronger trail of collaboration with various well-known universities in Indonesia.
One of MBKM’s flagship activities that students take part in is the Independent Student Exchange (PMM Outbound) with a total of 24 participants. These students will undergo exchange programs at various prestigious universities in the country, including the University of Indonesia, ITB, UGM, UB, UNAIR, UNPAD, UPI, University of Gorontalo, and several other universities.
Apart from PMM Outbound, 18 students participated in MSIB (Industrial and Business Studies Internship) activities, while 6 other students carried out independent projects that supported the development of their scientific and practical skills. A total of 3 students were also selected to teach at various campuses, bridging the exchange of knowledge between universities.
“This MBKM program is a golden opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, deepen their knowledge and develop their skills outside the campus environment,” said one of the FEB UNRAM Management Study Program lecturers. “This is an important step in preparing students to become strong individuals who are ready to compete in the era of globalization.”
Not only that, the Management Study Program is also active in carrying out partnership internship activities with a total of 133 students as well as an entrepreneurship program attended by 12 students, as a concrete manifestation of collaboration with the West Lombok Business and Industry Service (DISPAR). Apart from that, 95 students also took part in the MBKM Village Building activity, which aims to make a real contribution to the development of tourist villages in 12 different locations.
These activities are part of a national scheme initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), which goes through a strict selection process to ensure quality participation. With the various programs held, it is hoped that students can become agents of change who are able to make positive contributions to society and the nation.
