Mataram, August 21, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), officially launched its 63rd Anniversary (Dies Natalis) celebrations with a soft launch<\/em> held on Thursday (21\/8) at the FEB Unram field. The event was attended by around 500 members of the FEB Unram academic community, including lecturers, administrative staff, students, study program managers, and alumni.<\/p>\n

Carrying the theme \u201cFEB Unram Berkarya Tanpa Batas\u201d (FEB Unram: Boundless Creativity), the soft launch<\/em> marked the beginning of the 63rd anniversary celebrations while reaffirming the faculty\u2019s commitment to encouraging its academic community to continue creating, innovating, and making meaningful contributions to the faculty, the university, and society.<\/p>\n

The event began with a healthy walk, with around 500 members of the FEB Unram community taking part. Participants walked together around the campus in a lively and friendly atmosphere. The activity was followed by a joint prayer, expressing gratitude for FEB Unram\u2019s 63-year journey and hopes for the faculty\u2019s continued progress and success.<\/p>\n

The celebration continued with the release of balloons, symbolizing the official launch of the 63rd Anniversary activities. This was followed by a traditional tumpeng-cutting ceremony led by faculty leaders and the organizing committee as an expression of gratitude and a symbol of unity among members of the FEB Unram community. The event concluded with a shared breakfast, providing an opportunity for lecturers, staff, students, study program managers, and alumni to interact and strengthen their connections.<\/p>\n

The entire event took place in a warm, lively, and family-oriented atmosphere. The participation of different members of the FEB Unram community reflected a strong sense of togetherness in welcoming the faculty\u2019s 63rd anniversary.<\/p>\n

Chair of the 63rd Anniversary Committee, Dr. Handry Sudiartha Arthar, SE., MM., said in his remarks that this year\u2019s anniversary was an opportunity to reflect on FEB Unram\u2019s 63-year journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year, we celebrate 63 years of FEB Unram\u2019s journey. Although we have faced many challenges, we have continued to achieve and make progress. That is why we chose the theme \u2018FEB Unram Berkarya Tanpa Batas\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Dr. Handry further explained that the anniversary celebrations were designed not merely as ceremonial events, but also as opportunities for the academic community, particularly students, to develop their potential and creativity. A range of activities, including seminars, competitions, and academic and non-academic programs, will be held throughout the anniversary celebrations.<\/p>\n

These activities are expected to provide students with opportunities to express their ideas, creativity, and talents. The spirit of Berkarya Tanpa Batas<\/em> is also intended to encourage everyone at FEB Unram to continue creating innovations and achieving excellence amid the changing landscape of higher education and the evolving fields of economics and business.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the Dean of FEB Unram expressed his appreciation to the organizing committee and the entire academic community for their contributions to the preparation of the 63rd Anniversary celebrations. He emphasized that the anniversary was not only a time to celebrate the faculty\u2019s history and achievements, but also an opportunity to reflect on its progress and prepare for future challenges.<\/p>\n

The Dean highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong sense of unity as FEB Unram continues to navigate change. Over its 63-year journey, the faculty has experienced various stages of development while maintaining its commitment to improving the quality of education, research, community engagement, and human resource development.<\/p>\n

The spirit of \u201cBerkarya Tanpa Batas\u201d is expected to extend beyond the anniversary celebrations and become a shared commitment in the daily activities of the FEB Unram community. Lecturers and staff are encouraged to continue improving quality and innovation, while students are encouraged to develop their ideas, participate actively in academic and non-academic activities, and pursue achievements at both national and international levels.<\/p>\n

The Dean also called on the academic community and alumni to use the 63rd Anniversary as an opportunity to strengthen their sense of belonging to FEB Unram. Collaboration among the faculty, study programs, students, staff, and alumni is considered essential to building a more adaptive and high-achieving institution capable of making meaningful contributions to society.<\/p>\n

With the soft launch<\/em> marking the beginning of the 63rd Anniversary celebrations, FEB Unram will continue with a series of activities involving its academic community and alumni. Beyond celebrating achievements, the program is expected to strengthen connections, foster creativity, and inspire renewed enthusiasm for FEB Unram to continue creating, innovating, and achieving without limits.<\/p>\n
