Situated in the heart of the world’s best halal tourism destination (Lombok, NTB), the University of Mataram holds a unique competitive advantage in presenting the Halal Tourism Management Concentration. This concentration is an academic response to the rapid growth of the global halal lifestyle industry.
The program combines professional tourism management principles with compliance to Sharia values. Students will explore the Muslim-friendly tourism ecosystem, ranging from hospitality management and the halal food supply chain to destination marketing. The goal is to produce tourism managers and consultants capable of developing inclusive, ethical, and sustainable tourist destinations.
