Dean of FEB UNRAM Attends Launch of E-Bike Gridwiz, FEB UNRAM Supports Sustainable Mobility

Mataram, 27 February 2025 – Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB UNRAM), Dr. Ihsan Rois, ST., M.Si,, was also present at the launch of the Gridwiz x Unram E-Bike service which was held at the PT Warehouse. Gridwiz Energy & Mobility, Mataram University. This event carries a theme “Pedals Towards Sustainability” as a form of commitment to supporting sustainable mobility and reducing carbon emissions in the campus environment.

FEB UNRAM provides full support for this initiative as a concrete step in creating an environmentally friendly transportation ecosystem. Dr. Ihsan Rois, ST., M.Si, said that this program is in line with the faculty’s focus on supporting sustainable economic development and green business innovation. “The existence of this E-Bike service not only provides benefits in terms of the environmental aspect, but also opens up opportunities for academic studies and sustainable business models that can be applied in various sectors,” he said.

Apart from that, several FEB UNRAM students are also directly involved in this program through the MBKM Independent Internship scheme at PT. Gridwiz Energy & Mobility. Students who intern at this company gain experience in the fields of green business management, marketing environmentally friendly transportation services, as well as research on the adoption of green technology in society.

With the active involvement of FEB UNRAM, it is hoped that collaboration with Gridwiz can continue to develop, not only in implementing green transportation in the campus environment, but also in developing research, sustainable business innovation, and increasing student competency in renewable energy-based industries. FEB UNRAM is committed to continuing to support initiatives that support sustainability, both inside and outside the academic environment.

The launch of this E-Bike service marks the first step towards a greener and more sustainable campus. With collaboration between the academic world and industry, it is hoped that awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly mobility will increase among the academic community and the wider community.
