Mataram, December 3, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram (FEB Unram), once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening international engagement by hosting an International Cultural Exchange program in collaboration with Murdoch University, Australia. The activity was held on Wednesday (December 3, 2025) under the theme “International Cultural Exchange Welcoming Day: Faculty of Economics and Business University of Mataram x Murdoch University.”

On this occasion, FEB Unram welcomed a delegation consisting of 10 students and one lecturer from Murdoch University Australia. The welcoming event took place at The Gade Creative Lounge, FEB Unram, and was conducted in a warm, interactive, and friendly atmosphere that encouraged cross-cultural interaction.

A series of engaging activities were designed to foster closer connections between FEB Unram students and the visiting students from Murdoch University. These activities included ice-breaking games, group activities, a question-and-answer (Q&A) session discussing academic life and cultural perspectives, as well as a joint photo session to commemorate the occasion.

The program was further enriched with a joint visit to Lombok Epicentrum Mall, providing the visiting students with an opportunity to experience local social life and culture in Lombok. This informal activity also allowed both groups of students to interact more closely outside the campus setting, strengthening mutual understanding and friendship.

The International Cultural Exchange program served as a valuable platform for students to broaden their global perspectives, enhance intercultural communication skills, and develop an appreciation for cultural diversity. At the same time, the activity reinforced FEB Unram’s role as an open, adaptive, and internationally oriented faculty.

Through this initiative, FEB Unram hopes to further strengthen its partnership with Murdoch University Australia and expand future collaborations in the form of student and lecturer exchanges, joint academic programs, and other international initiatives.
