Mataram, 31 March 2026 — The S1 Accounting Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram (FEB Unram), held an Alumni Talks event titled “Beyond the Numbers: Alumni Stories, Global Careers, Real Impact” on Monday, 31 March 2026, conducted online via Zoom Meeting.

The event featured two inspiring alumni, namely Apipudin Romdhani (Class of 2008, SME Credit Risk at PT Bank Tabungan Negara) and Jelantik Sadiaweda (Class of 2003, Master’s student of Accounting Information Systems at Universitas Gadjah Mada and Operational Accounting Manager at Newmont Suriname).

The session was attended by dozens of S1 Accounting students and lecturers who participated enthusiastically. The discussion was moderated by Baiq Krisnina Maharani Putri, a lecturer of the S1 Accounting Program, who facilitated an interactive and engaging dialogue throughout the event.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the S1 Accounting Study Program, Dr. Wahidatul Husnaini, S.E., M.Si., who emphasized the importance of involving alumni as a source of inspiration and motivation for students.

During the sharing session, the speakers reflected on their career journeys, the challenges they encountered, and strategies for building successful professional careers. They also highlighted the importance of mastering technical competencies, adaptability, and soft skills in facing the increasingly competitive dynamics of the workplace.

The discussion became highly dynamic through an active Q&A session, where students took the opportunity to explore career prospects, professional experiences at both national and international levels, as well as personal development tips.

Through this activity, the S1 Accounting Program of FEB Unram reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the connection between students and alumni as part of efforts to enhance academic insight and career readiness. This event is expected to encourage students to become more prepared and confident in facing the professional world within Universitas Mataram.
