Mataram, November 13, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram (FEB Unram), conducted an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Preparation Training Workshop on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The workshop was held at the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mataram, and was attended by heads and managers of study programs as well as lecturers from across FEB Unram.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and readiness in preparing for the implementation of ISO standards, particularly in supporting the improvement of academic and non-academic governance quality. Through this activity, FEB Unram reaffirmed its commitment to adopting international quality standards in a consistent and sustainable manner.

During the workshop, participants received comprehensive presentations on the fundamental principles of ISO, the scope of standard implementation, and strategic steps that need to be prepared by faculties and study programs. Interactive discussions were also an integral part of the session, allowing participants to raise questions, share challenges, and exchange best practices that have been applied within their respective units.

The active participation of study program managers and lecturers reflected FEB Unram’s strong commitment to building collective awareness of the importance of international quality standards. It is expected that this workshop will help align work processes, documentation, and academic services across all units in accordance with ISO requirements.

Through the ISO Preparation Training Workshop, FEB Unram hopes to strengthen its internal quality assurance system, improve efficiency and accountability in governance, and support the realization of an excellent and globally competitive faculty.
